No fuss fitness.
For everyone.
For a fiver.

Beginner-friendly group fitness classes in Harrogate. No contracts, no intimidation, no fuss — just a properly coached class you can actually afford.

Why Fiver Fitness

Most gym classes either cost too much or feel like they weren't built for beginners. Fiver Fitness is a small, capped class (12 people, max) run by a personal trainer — properly coached, genuinely welcoming, and priced so it never has to be the thing you cut from the budget.

Accessible

Honest pricing, no contract — nothing that prices you out or locks you in.

Inclusive

Beginners, returners, total first-timers — welcome exactly as you are.

Encouraging

Properly coached, genuinely cheered on, never made to feel behind.

How a class runs

Strength

We start with strength work — usually one upper body and one lower body movement. Simple but progressive, so it fits whether you're brand new or years in.

Conditioning

Then it's onto conditioning. No crazy or complicated exercises — just simple, honest, hard work to get a sweat on, get fitter, and feel good.

Bonus

Last up, a few minutes just for you. Could be technique on the rowing machine, a bit of mindset, stretches you can use at home — things that are going to help you most.

Yes — every class needs to be booked in advance, drop-in or member. You don't need a membership to book, but you can't just turn up on the day without one.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No. No contracts, ever. Book a single drop-in whenever suits, or join as a member and cancel anytime.

I've never done a class like this — will I keep up?

Yes. Fiver Fitness is built for beginners as much as anyone — properly coached, simple and progressive, and nobody's ever made to feel behind.

What should I bring?

Just comfortable workout clothes, trainers, and a water bottle. Everything else is provided.

Is there parking at Unit Nine Collective?

Yes — free on-site parking right at the venue, about 5 minutes' drive from Harrogate town centre.

What do I get with membership?

Priority booking, a discounted class price — as low as £5 a class, regular educational content, and access to the community group.

How long does a class run, and what does it cover?

Each class is 45–60 minutes: strength work, then conditioning, then a few minutes of bonus coaching — see how a class runs for the full breakdown.
